Walnut Creek, Calif. - Junior Britta Syverson and senior Anastasia Alexander were each named to the All-Pac-12 team, as announced by the conference today.

This is the second consecutive year that Syverson, a junior from Minneapolis, Minn., has secured All-Pac-12 recognition. Earlier this week, she earned first-team CRCA West All-Region honors for the second straight season. Syverson has rowed in the varsity eight boat in every one of UCLA's races this year and has helped the team reach the NCAA Championships for the second time in program history.

Alexander, a senior from Long Beach, Calif., earned the first All-Pac-12 selection in her career. Earlier this week, she was named second-team West All-Region by the CRCA. Like Syverson, she has rowed with the varsity eight in every race for the Bruins this season and played a big role in helping the team return to the NCAA Championships.

The Bruins will compete at the NCAA Championships in West Windsor, N.J. from Fri., May 25 to Sun., May 27.
