Two Bruins, senior Lisa Dodd and junior Krista Colburn, have been named first-team Easton All-Americans. This is the second All-America award this season for both players, as they both earned NFCA Second-Team honors last week.
Colburn led the Bruins in batting with a .382 average, in runs scored with 50 and in hits with 66, all while hitting leadoff. She also hit seven home runs and drove in 32 runs on the year.
Dodd led UCLA with 14 home runs, 49 RBI and a slugging percentage of .694 on the year. She was also second on the team with a .369 batting average and 59 hits.
Both players were also named first-team All-Pacific Region by the NFCA and earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors.
