On Friday against Kansas State, Kidder came off the bench and had a perfect night, recording nine kills and no errors in 12 swings for a .750 hitting percentage to go with a team-best 12.0 points. Seven of her nine kills came in the final set of the sweep, as she also added four blocks and three digs. The following night against 22nd-ranked San Diego, Kidder earned the start and had nine kills for the second straight match with a service ace in a three-set sweep. In the weekend finale against #5 Hawai'i, the sophomore tied for the team lead with 13 kills, her first-career, double-figure kills contest. She added four digs, an ace and a block.
This is Kidder's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of her career.
