Bruins Blank Boston University, 4-0 in NCAA First Round

LOS ANGELES - Playing its first tournament match since capturing the 2008 NCAA title, the 11th-seeded UCLA women's tennis team dispatched of Boston University, 4-0 in first-round action on Saturday at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. With the win, UCLA (18-6) advances to play Arizona State (12-8) in Sunday's second round beginning at Noon. The Sun Devils beat UNLV earlier in the day.

After capturing the doubles point, UCLA received singles wins from Andrea Remynse (court No. 2), Ashley Joelson (court No. 5) and Carling Seguso (court No. 6).

UCLA beat Arizona State twice during the regular season, winning both matches 4-3.
