Nilsson tallied seven lifetime-best marks throughout the two days of competition, including two event wins on Saturday. He started the day with the third-fastest time in the 60m hurdles (8.43) and then posted wins in the pole vault (15-9) and 1000m (2:33.99) to score 5700 points.
