LOS ANGELES - The 15th-ranked UCLA swimming and diving teams host a pair of meets this weekend at the Spieker Aquatics Center. On Friday, the Bruins take on Arizona State and San Diego at 1 p.m., while on Saturday, UCLA entertains Arizona at 2 p.m.
Admission to both meets is free. In addition, the Arizona State and CSU Bakersfield men's squads will swim in between women's heats on Friday.
The Bruins hold a 5-0 dual meet record this season (2-0 Pac-12), winning swimming-only matchups against UC Davis (136-119) and Washington State (150-97) last Friday. The diving squad took part at the Trojan Diving Invitational last Friday and Saturday. All five divers made the Three-Meter finals, including sophomore Emma Ivory-Ganja, who won the event.
Arizona State brings in a 2-0 record after defeating Washington State (170-88) and Grand Canyon (179-80) on Oct. 27 in Tempe. San Diego is 0-3 on the year, falling to USC (157.5-125.5) on Oct. 19, UC Davis (167-95) on Nov. 3 and Loyola Marymount (154-108) on Nov. 3.
Arizona is 4-0 on the year, having defeated Hawai'i, Washington State, UNLV and Denver.
