"This recruiting class has great depth and strength," Inouye-Perez said. "They also excel in the classroom and I have no doubt that they will come in and carry on the tradition of excellence at UCLA starting with the 2013 season and beyond."

Allexis Bennett

Allexis Bennett, a left-handed hitting infielder/outfielder from Troy High School in Fullerton, Calif., helped the Warriors to a quarterfinal finish in the Division 4 CIF-Southern Section Championships in 2011. Bennett plays club with OC Batbusters, which she helped lead to a pair of championships for the 16 and Under team in 2010.

"Allexis `Chip' Bennett plays with an energy and passion that goes unparalleled," Inouye-Perez said. "As a left-handed hitter, her speed will add another dimension to the Bruin offense. It will be inspiring to see Chip roam the outfield in blue and gold."
