UCLA (9-2, 6-2), ranked 15th in this week's Associated Press poll and 16th in the USA Today Coaches Poll, hosts Stanford (9-2, 7-1 and ranked 11th in each poll) on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 3:30 p.m. PT. The contest will be televised by FOX with Gus Johnson and Charles Davis in the booth and Julie Alexandria on the sidelines. The Bruin IMG Radio Network (Chris Roberts, Matt Stevens and Wayne Cook) will radio broadcast the contest on 570am in the Los Angeles area. The game will also be radio broadcast nationally by Dial Global Sports with John Tautges and former Bruin head coach, Terry Donahue, mikeside and on SIRIUS (Ch. 139)/ XM (Ch. 194). This week's honorary captain is former UCLA and NFL linebacker Donnie Edwards.
**Johnathan Franklin's rushing total of 4,110 yards ranks sixth on the Pac-12 conference career list (5th is Darrin Nelson of Stanford, 1977-81- 4,169)
**Franklin recorded his eighth 100-yard rushing game of the season this past Saturday against USC which tied to the school single-season record
**UCLA has won five straight games in a season for the first time since 2005, when it won first eight; it is also the last time that UCLA has won five straight conference games in a season
**Redshirt sophomore linebacker Eric Kendricks has recorded 55 tackles in his last four games (10 v. USC) and is the Pac-12 leader in tackles (10.2 /g) ... UCLA owns a 10-5 advantage in series games contested in the Rose Bowl. Last year on the Farm, UCLA took the opening kickoff and marched inside the five-yard line but could not turn the drive into points. Then No. 6/4 ranked-Stanford took over and drove the length of the field to take a 7-0 lead and was never headed in a 45-19 win. Joseph Fauria caught two scoring passes from Richard Brehaut in the contest.
In 2010, Stanford jumped to a 13-0 halftime lead in a game played in the Rose Bowl. Following a Kai Forbath missed field goal attempt, Stanford proceeded to score 14 points in nine seconds, on a touchdown run and a fumble return, to take a 28-0 advantage into the fourth quarter and went on to a 35-0 win. In the last series win by the Bruins, the 2008 contest played at the Rose Bowl, Kevin Craft hit Cory Harkey with a seven-yard scoring pass with 10 seconds to play to give the Bruins a dramatic victory.

UCLA AND THE BCS
UCLA is ranked No. 17 in the BCS Standings this week. The last time UCLA was ranked in the BCS, prior to this season, was on Dec. 3, 2006, at No. 25. The Bruins have moved into the BCS rankings in the 1998, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2012 seasons. The Bruins have been ranked as high as No. 1 in the rankings and were No.1 in the very first BCS ranking released on Oct. 26, 1998.
