No. 17 UCLA Women's Rowing Hosts San Diego State

Los Angeles - The No. 17 ranked UCLA women's rowing team returns to Ballona Creek to take on San Diego State on Saturday, March 17 at Marina del Rey, Calif. The Bruins are coming off a spring season debut against the LMU Lions last week. The Bruins will enter two varsity eight boats, two varsity four boats and two novice crews against the SDSU Aztecs.

UCLA's first race this Saturday will begin at 8:15 am (women's novice 8+). The women's last race, the varsity 8+ event, will take place at 9:45 am.

The Bruins competed against SDSU in last year's Miller Cup at Marina del Rey, Calif., finishing ahead of the Aztecs in the 3 races that SDSU entered. The Bruins finished first in the 2V8+ Grand Final, V4+ Grand Final, and the N8+ against the Aztecs en route to a Miller Cup Championship.
