Incoming UCLA freshman Maria Jose Uribe will meet Amanda Blumenherst in the finals of the 107th U.S. Women's Amateur at Crooked Stick GC in Carmel, Ind.
Sunday's final will be 36 holes at the historic 6,595-yard, par 72 course.
Uribe, 17, was four-under par with match play concessions on Saturday and dispatched Ha Na Jang of Korea, 2-up. Uribe trailed just once in the match, falling one hole down after a bogey at the eighth. She quickly squared the match at the ninth, then went 1-up with a birdie at the 10th. She held that lead and made a 50-foot putt for birdie at the 17th to seal the victory.
Blumenherst, a senior at Duke, defeated defending champion Kimberly Kim, 5 & 3.
