Bruins Win Tri-Match at Trump National

On Saturday, the UCLA women's golf team won a tri-match featuring a modified Stableford scoring system at Trump National Golf Club in Palos Verdes.

The Bruins compiled 89 points and easily out-scored USC, which had 62 points, and Arizona State, which scored 38 points. Six points were awarded for eagles, three points for birdies, one point for pars, minus one for bogeys and minus two for double bogeys or worse.

UCLA sophomore Tiffany Joh led the Bruins with 25 points, followed by 22 points from junior Maiya Tanaka.
