Anzures Leads Men's Cross Country To Team Crown In Tucson

Results

Senior Marco Anzures led the Bruin men to the team title at the Dave Murray Invitational on Friday night in Tucson, Arizona. The Bruins won the meet with 32 points, while Anzures finished third overall in the 7k race in a time of 21:11.

Fellow senior Marlon Patterson finished just behind Anzures in fourth-place, running 21:12. Junior Jake Matthews was the third Bruin placing in the top 10 as he finished seventh in a time of 21:35.

Senior Alex Crabill (11th, 21:45) and sophomore Spencer Knight (16th, 21:58) rounded out the top five finishers for UCLA. Freshman Zack Torres (18th, 22:05) and sophomore David McDonald (28th, 22:32) were the Bruins' final scorers of the meet.
