The 17th/19th-ranked Bruins (7-2, 4-2) took the field this morning to begin preparations for the Pac-12 Conference game at Washington State. The contest will kick off at 7:36 p.m. and be televised by ESPN2.
Some Bruin notes from the NFL's ninth weekend- Arizona - DL David Carter saw action for the Cardinals and had one tackle; Carolina - PK Justin Medlock was in action, but did not connect on a field goal this week , DL Nate Chandler made a tackle; Cleveland - LS Christian Yount saw action ; Denver - WR Matthew Willis played for the Broncos Rahim Moore was credited with three tackles, including one for loss ; Indianapolis - LB Justin Hickman made a tackle for the Colts ; Jacksonville - RB Maurice Jones-Drew was not active this week, due to injury, TE Marcedes Lewis caught four passes for 41 yards, LB Kyle Bosworth saw action but was not credited with a tackle; San Diego - OT Mike Harris saw action for the Chargers ; Tennessee - LB Akeem Ayers totaled eight stops, including a sack for the Titans, CB Alterraun Verner recorded three tackles ; Washington - TE Logan Paulsen caught five passes for 59 yards in a starting role Kai Forbath kicked a pair of field goals, connecting from 47 and 25 yards out ; Minnesota - P Chris Kluwe kicked three times for a 48.3-yard average ; New England - WR Matthew Slater had a bye this past week; Dallas - DL Kenyon Coleman registered a tackle for the Cowboys.
