The UCLA women's golf team begins play Friday in the Landfall Tradition tournament in Wilmington, NC.

Eighteen teams highlight the Landfall Tradition field, several of which are ranked in GolfWeek's Top 25. The fourth-ranked Bruins are the highest-ranked team in the field. Also competing are fifth-ranked Duke and No. 8 Virginia.

The Landfall Tradition course was designed by Pete Dye and plays to a par of 72 over 6,242 yards. Format for the tournament calls for 18 holes of stroke play each day from Oct. 22-24.

UCLA's lineup consists of senior Glory Yang, junior Stephanie Kono, sophomores Brianna Do and Tiffany Lua and freshman Ani Gulugian. This week, Kono was ranked ninth in the country.
