California's Brian Dudley and Frank Reynolds each led the Golden Bears (10-4) with three goals, as Dudley scored the game-winning goal at the final overtime buzzer to lead California.

Davidson led UCLA's fourth-quarter comeback, scoring two goals in the first two minutes of the fourth quarter to help the Bruins (8-3) reduce a 10-5 gap to a three-goal margin. Junior Scott Swanson scored UCLA's eighth goal with 3:30 to play, and sophomore Jacob Murphy trimmed California's lead to 10-9 with 95 seconds remaining.

Senior Krsto Sbutega helped UCLA tie the contest, 10-10, scoring a long-range shot with 48 seconds to play.

Neither team scored in the first of two three-minute overtime sessions. Sophomore Ben Hohl handed UCLA its first and only lead of the match with 2:13 to play in the second overtime, and California's Zach White tied the game using a backhand shot with 73 seconds left in the period.
