Dec. 6, 2012

Orlando, Fla. - As one of the finalists for the Doak Walker Award, UCLA running back Johnathan Franklin was in Florida on Thursday to attend the ESPN College Football Awards show.

Wisconsin's Montee Ball was the 2012 recipient of the Doak Walker Award, which is given annually to the top running back in the nation. Ball was also a finalist in 2011. Franklin and Oregon's Kenjon Barner were finalists.
