Incoming Frosh Diver Going Strong At AT&T National Championships

Incoming freshman diver Emma Ivory-Ganja picked up her fourth event qualifier for the 2012 Olympic Trials after today's performance on three-meter at the AT&T National Diving Championships.

Ivory-Ganja has qualified for the Olympic Trials on both synchro events - 3M and Platform. She has also qualified for the platform and three-meter individual events.

On Friday, she started off the day finishing seventh in the prelim/quarterfinal round of 3M with a score of 269.60 to advance to the semifinal round. In the semis, she finished 10th with a score of 279.35 to qualify for the final, which will be held on Sunday.

On Wednesday, Ivory-Ganja and 2011 graduate Laura Winn each competed on the platform event. The incoming frosh finished fifth in the prelim/quarterfinal round with a score of 286.85 and then finished 17th in the semis with a score of 227.00. Winn had a rough competition and missed the semifinals by about 10 points as she finished 22nd in the prelim/quarterfinal round with a score of 223.15.
