Watson Earns All-America Honors In Long Jump At NCAA Indoor Championships

Senior Danielle Watson earned All-America honors on Friday at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, AR as she placed eighth in the long jump.

Watson equaled her season-best of 20-9 to finish eighth overall. This was the second All-America honor of her career (she earned honors at the 2010 outdoor meet).

On Saturday, Ryann Krais will compete in the pentathlon and Tori Pena will compete in the pole vault to wrap up competition for the Bruins.

Auburn leads in the team standings with 18 points. Tennessee (16) and Arizona (15.5) are closed behind in second and third-place.
