Rowe finished was the top collegiate finisher in the 60m hurdles (2nd overall) as she ran a lifetime-best of 8.16. That time knocks .02 seconds off her previous lifetime-best and moves her to 10th in the NCAA this season. That time will qualify her for the NCAA Indoor Championships, held March 11-12 in College Station, TX.
McLaughlin ran a lifetime-best of 2:06.73 in the 800m to finish sixth overall. That time is 25th in the NCAA this season and improves on her previous best of 2:07.66 by nearly a second. However, that time will probably not get her into Nationals.
Also in Seattle, Joy Eaton won the 200m as she ran 24.99. Turquoise Thompson was also victorious as she won the 400m (54.59). Tamara Purpura was ninth in the 800m (2:10.32) and Paisley Pettway was 10th (2:10.95, season-best).
The 4x400m relay did not finish their race as their third runner, Breyonna Hunter, was forced to pull out during the timed final due to dehydration.
