Berg has gone 4-1 with a 1.39 ERA in a conference-leading 22 appearances (all in relief) this spring. The nartive of Covina, Calif., starred on the varsity baseball team the last two years at Bishop Amat High School (La Puente, Calif.).
Ranked No. 11 by Baseball America, UCLA returns to action at Oregon State this weekend. The Bruins and Beavers open their three-game series on Friday at 5:35 p.m. Saturday's game will be televised live by ROOT Sports Northwest, at 1:05 p.m.
