Tulsa, Okla. - UCLA's Tracy Lin and Riza Zalameda won their match on Saturday to reach the semifinals of doubles at the NCAA Championships held at Tulsa's Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Zalameda fell in quarterfinal singles play on Saturday.
Lin and Zalameda, the top-seeded duo in the 32-team draw, defeated William & Mary's Megan Moulton-Levy/Katarina Zoricic, 7-5, 6-2. Next up is a meeting with Fresno State's Renata Kucerkova/Anastasia Petukhova in the semifinals on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CST). The other semifinal on Sunday will be between Notre Dame's Brook Buck/Kelcy Tefft and Fresno State's Melanie Gloria/Tinesta Rowe.
Zalameda was beaten in her quarterfinal match by top-seeded Aurelija Miseviciute of Arkansas, 6-2, 6-3.
