Jeff Gelalich presents the seventh episode of "Gel's Bells," a weekly video blog presented by UCLA's right fielder that chronicles the Bruins' 2012 season. Gelalich welcomes right-handed reliever Scott Griggs to this week's show.
UCLA has won 11 of its last 13 games and will close its regular-season schedule against USC this weekend, opening a three-game series at Jackie Robinson Stadium on Friday at 6 p.m.
Gelalich leads the Pac-12 with a .376 batting average and ranks third with a .460 on-base percentage. The Bruins' right fielder leads UCLA with nine home runs and has compiled 37 RBI.
Griggs established UCLA's single-season saves record two weeks ago, notching his 13th save of the year in a series-sweeping 4-2 win at Washington (May 13). Griggs has logged 14 saves and a 1.95 ERA in 31 relief appearances.
Fans unable to attend the games against USC can listen to a live audio broadcast online, free of charge, at uclabruins.com. UCLA also offers a live, in-stadium broadcast. Tune your portable radio at Jackie Robinson Stadium to 87.7 FM to listen to the radio call.
