IN THE POLLS
UCLA is unranked in the AP Top 25 and the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll (Dec. 27). The Washington Huskies (9-3, 1-0) are unranked in both polls, but received 73 votes in the AP poll and 38 votes in the Coaches poll.

SERIES VS. WASHINGTON
This is the 129th meeting between UCLA and Washington with the Bruins leading the series 91-37 (.705). UCLA is 59-6 (.908) against the Huskies in Los Angeles and 44-3 (.936) in Pauley Pavilion. Mustafa Abdul-Hamid hit a jumper from the top of the key as time expired to lift UCLA to a 62-61 victory over UW last year in Pauley on Jan. 22, 2010. Reeves Nelson led the Bruins with 16 points and six rebounds while Malcolm Lee chipped in 13 points. It was the fourth-straight home win for the Bruins over the Huskies. Nikola Dragoviæ added 11 points while Tyler Honeycutt registered 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block for UCLA. Quincy Pondexter scored a game-high 23 points for UW. Isaiah Thomas was the only other UW player to reach double figures with 11 points. The last time Washington won in Los Angeles was when the 13th-ranked Huskies handed the 11th-ranked Bruins a 69-65 setback on Jan. 14, 2006. UCLA Head Coach Ben Howland is 7-8 all-time against Washington. The Huskies' Head Coach, Lorenzo Romar, is 7-9 vs. UCLA (1-7 in Pauley Pavilion).

BRUINS' INJURY REPORT
Sophomore forward Tyler Honeycutt has a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder. He sustained the injury in the second half of the Bruins' win over Montana State on Dec. 21, 2010. He did not play in the Bruins' 74-73 win over UC Irvine (Dec. 23). He started in the Bruins' win over Washington State and had 14 points and nine rebounds against the Cougars.

20/20 VISION
Last night's win over Washington State (Dec. 29), marked the second straight game that UCLA has had two players score 20 or more points. Reeves Nelson and Malcolm Lee each scored 21 points against Washington State while Lee and Lazeric Jones each scored 20 points against UC Irvine (Dec. 23). The last time that happened was in 2008 with Kevin Love (20 points) and Josh Shipp (21 points) at home in a win over Arizona State (Jan. 31) and then Love (26) and Russell Westbrook (21) at home in a win over Arizona (Feb. 2).
