The Bruins have won 10 of their last 11 matches, with their only losses coming against Stanford (Feb. 5) and California (April 7). In the team's 8-6 loss to California last weekend, Becca Dorst scored a team-leading three goals. Dorst, a sophomore utility player from Menlo, Calif., has tallied a career-high three goals in three matches.

Bruins Leading on Defense
Backed by starting goalkeeper Caitlin Dement, UCLA has recorded a 5.11 goals against average through 18 matches, the second-lowest mark in the MPSF. California's eight-goal total was the greatest against the Bruins since Stanford tallied nine goals at the Stanford Invitational on Feb. 5. UCLA has held its opposition to four goals or fewer in eight matches.

KK Among MPSF's Top Scorers
With two weeks remaining in the regular season, senior KK Clark ranks second among MPSF players with 2.17 goals per game. She leads UCLA with 39 goals in 18 matches. Clark has scored in all but one match for the Bruins, having netted a season-high four goals in one game (vs. Indiana, Jan. 21). The resident of Atherton, Calif., enters this weekend's games at UC Irvine and Loyola Marymount with 150 career goals.

Player of the Week Selections
KK Clark has twice captured MPSF Player of the Week acclaim this season, while Caitlin Dement secured the weekly honor on March 5. Clark was named MPSF Player of the Week after UCLA went 3-0 at the Michigan Invitational the first weekend of the season and after leading UCLA to the UCI Invitational title on Feb. 26. Dement recorded 11 saves in UCLA's 6-5 win at USC on March 3 to earn the weekly award.

Key Performers for UCLA
Seven Bruins have registered at least 10 goals this season, while five players have each dished 10 or more assists. Becca Dorst ranks second on the team with 21 goals, having totaled 10 assists and 20 steals. Emily Greenwood has scored 17 goals and leads UCLA with 44 earned exclusions. Hannah Sebenaler and Sarah Orozco have each scored 15 goals.

UCLA's Remaining Schedule
The Bruins have three regular-season contests remaining, one that will count toward the MPSF standings. UCLA is currently amidst a stretch of four straight road matches. After this weekend's games against UC Irvine and Loyola Marymount, the Bruins will return home for their final regular-season match against Stanford (April 21).

Looking Toward the Postseason
UCLA has won the MPSF Tournament the last two seasons and in four of the last five years. Stanford will host this season's MPSF Tournament the weekend of April 27-29. All eight MPSF teams earn a berth to the conference tournament, whereby the winner secures the automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament, to be played at San Diego State (May 11-13).
