This Friday and Saturday (March 12-13), the UCLA Bruins will send 12 women to the 2004 NCAA Indoor Championships. This year's championships will once again be held in Fayetteville, AR at the University of Arkansas' Tyson Indoor Stadium.

Headlining the women's competition are sophomore Chelsea Johnson and true freshman Renee Williams. Both enter the NCAA Indoor meet with the top marks in their respective events. Earlier this season, Johnson set a school pole vault record, clearing 14-8. At UCLA's first outdoor meet, held March 6, she cleared 14-9 to set a new collegiate outdoor pole vault record.
