Art Venegas' Bruin men's team is tied for No. 20 in the U. S., with Baylor, TCU, Idaho and Brigham Young (the Bruin women this week are ranked No. 2). It's the highest ranking for the UCLA men this season. The No. 1 team is Tennessee, the defending NCAA Outdoor champion. The USC men this week are tied for No. 16 in the nation.

On Saturday, May 4 at Drake Stadium, UCLA will host USC in the annual dual meet. Last Saturday (April 13) at Drake, the Bruin men defeated BYU in dual competition.

Other Pac-10 teams in this week's Trackwire men's Top 25 are: No. 6 Stanford and No. 16 (tie) Oregon. The upcoming Pac-10 T & F Championships will be held in Pullman, WA, May 18-19.
