Box Score

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Luke Jackson made a pair of free throws with 13 seconds left to give Oregon a 60-59 victory against UCLA on Saturday.

Jackson, playing his last career game at McArthur Court, scored 21 points total to go with eight rebounds. He scored 14 in the second half as the Ducks erased a 29-23 halftime deficit.

Jackson was sent to the line after the Bruins' Trevor Ariza fouled him while attempting to steal a pass from James Davis.

The win also gave Oregon (14-11 overall, 9-9 Pac-10) its third straight .500 or better finish in conference play for the first time in 49 years.

James Davis, another of the Ducks' four seniors, added 11 points, while Dijon Thompson led four Bruins in double-digits with 14 points. Oregon opened the second half with a 15-2 run to take a 38-31 lead at the 16:38 mark. Jackson started the run with a layup off a steal, while Aaron Brooks hit a pair of 3-pointers.

UCLA (11-16, 7-11) wouldn't go away, retaking the lead at 7:18 on a turnaround jump shot by T.J. Cummings over the defense of Jackson to put the Bruins up 50-48.

Jackson answered with a 3-pointer to give the Ducks the one-point advantage.

After Oregon fell behind 57-54 on a layup by Cedric Bozeman with 2:01 to play, Jackson answered with another 3-pointer to tie the game and Ian Crosswhite made a free throw with 54 seconds left for a 58-57 Oregon lead.

The Bruins went back up on top after a layup from Bozeman with 21 seconds left.

After Jackson's free throws, the Bruins had a chance, but Bozmen's shot on a drive to the basket was short and the rebound was grabbed by the Ducks.
