UCLA's top-ranked women's golf team travels this weekend to the Stanford Intercollegiate at the Stanford Golf Course in Palo Alto.
The 54-hole event features 16 teams, including Pac-12 representatives Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State, USC and Washington, in addition to the Bruins and host Cardinal.
Competing for the Bruins will be the same fivesome that won the season-opening Fall Preview in Tennessee: juniors Tiffany Lua and Lee Lopez, sophomore Ani Gulugian and freshmen Erynne Lee and Kyle Roig. Also competing as individuals are seniors Stephanie Kono and Brianna Do.
Lua was the Bruins' top finisher in Tennessee, tying for fifth place, followed by Lee in a tie for eighth, Gulugian who tied for 16th and Lopez who tied for 20th. Roig tied for 39th. Kono and Do did not play in the opening tournament because of commitments to Stage II of the LPGA's Q-School.
The Stanford Golf Course will play to a par of 71 over 6,100 yards. Eighteen holes of stroke play will commence on Oct. 14 and continue through Oct. 16.
