2005 -- Named team's co-Most Outstanding Pitcher... Was a candidate for the Brooks Wallace Player of the Year Award... Led team on the mound (3.94 ERA)... Hit .338 (53-157) on the year... Produced two four-hit performances , two three-RBI outburts and a total of 13 multi-hit games... At one point had a seven-game hitting streak... Led team with 14 doubles... Began season on a 5-for-5 run, including a 4-for-4 opening day... Hit a home run on Feb. 13 against Cal State Northridge... Went 13-for-24 with four RBI over a six game span from Feb. 6 to Feb. 25... 2003 -- Appeared in 14 games, including five starts on the mound... After starting the year in the bullpen, made four consecutive starts before moving back to the bullpen on March 23rd... Also made five starts as a designated hitter and four at first base... Posted a 6.50 ERA in 45.2 innings of work... Was fifth on the team with 41 strikeouts in 12 appearances on the mound... His 8.08 strikeouts per game ranked third on the staff... Put together an impressive performance at nationally-ranked Texas A&M on February 24, with a career-high eight strikeouts in a career-high 6.2 innings of action... Posted six strikeouts in first career start at UC Santa Barbara on February 18... Made the start in the Bruins' 4-3 win over Pepperdine on May 13, allowing three runs with four strikeouts in five innings... Started a game-winning 10th-inning rally in UCLA's 10-9 win over Oregon State on May 3, with a pinch-hit leadoff single...
