Saw action in 30 games for the Alexandria Beetles of the Northwoods League...hit .228 (18-for-79) with one home run, six doubles, 12 RBI, 11 runs scored, and two stolen bases...also started seven games for the Beetles on the mound, earning a 4-3 record with a 3.51 ERA in 41.0 innings of work, while striking out 26 batters.

Three-year letterwinner in baseball for head coach Tom Dill...was a three-time All-Mission League selection as both a pitcher and as an outfielder...tallied an 8-2 record with a 1.34 ERA and five shutouts, while striking out 82 batters as a senior...named MVP as a junior by batting .510 and leading the league in batting and hits.
