2009

2008 (summer)
Played in 35 games (25 starts) for the Wenatchee AppleSox of the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League...batted .221 (21-for-95), collecting two doubles, 10 RBI, 11 runs and six stolen bases in six attempts...registered a .342 on-base percentage, drawing 17 walks...Wenatchee finished first in the WCCBL's East Division.

2008
Played in six games, starting once as the designated hitter against Loyola Marymount (April 30)...registered his first hit as a Bruin in his first at-bat of the season, versus Cal State Fullerton (March 5)...drew one walk in four plate appearances in the start against Loyola Marymount.

Before UCLA
Two-year letterwinner (2006-07) at Saddleback Junior College under head coach Jack Hodges...in 2007, posted a .317 batting average in 42 games (41 starts)...named a pre-season all-star and served as a team captain...earned 2007 Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors...in 2006, registered a .352 batting average in 32 games (19 starts) as a freshman in 2006...tallied six doubles, 12 RBI and 17 runs in his first season.
