2004 (Summer) -- Had a breakout summer with the Lombard Orioles... Led team with eight home runs, including two grand slams... Won league's World Series Home Run Derby and was an all-tournament catcher... Also was named an all-tournament catcher while playing for the Chicago Prairie Gravel during Labor Day Tournament in Grand Fork, British Columbia.

2004 -- Knocked out one base-hit in five at-bats... Pitched 1.1 innings in relief, allowing just one hit and no runs.

2003 (Summer) -- Played for the Lombard Orioles of the semipro league.

2003 -- Appeared in 13 games for UCLA, starting two as the designated hitter... Honored by his teammates at the 2003 banquet with the 10th Player Award, given to the reserve who helped the team the most over the course of the season... Posted first hit of the season on February 15 against North Carolina State... Hit his first career double and drove in the first run of his career the following day against the Wolf Pack.

2002 (Summer) -- Played outfield for the Lima Locos of the Great Lakes Collegiate League... Helped lead the team to a third-place finish.

2002 -- Appeared in 12 games for the Bruins, starting one... Start came at Hawaii-Hilo (Feb. 13) as the designated hitter... Used mainly as a pinch hitter, appeared twice in left field... Had back-to-back hits on Mar. 24 at Miami and Apr. 4 at California.

2001 -- Redshirted.

2000 (Summer) -- Played third base and pitched for the Wilmette Waves of the Legion League... Hit .485 with seven home runs and 52 RBI and earned MVP honors... Had the first hit and the first two home runs of the new franchise's history... Was 4-for-4 with seven RBI in one game... Hit two home runs in one game... Hit a home run in the team's last game.

New Trier HS (Winnetka, IL) -- Three-year letterwinner under coach Mike Napoleon... Named all-state, all area and all-conference... Hit .475 with four home runs, 13 doubles and 50 RBI as a senior... Also had 46 runs, 56 hits and a triple... His team won the school's first baseball state championship during his senior year and was state runner-up his junior year... Hit .350 as a junior, and .340 as a sophomore with a team-high 46 runs... Participated in the Area Code Games.
