UCLA -- Walcott, a cousin to point guard Mike Bibby, former Arizona All-American and current standout with the Sacramento Kings, was a major contributor last season as a sophomore, appearing in 27 games (he missed the USD and Duke encounters because of an NCAA ruling) and started nine consecutive games in the middle of the 2002-03 campaign ... Averaged 21.5 minutes a game and led the team in assists (90, 3.3, 10th in the Pac-10) and was second in total steals (24) ... Walcott contributed off the bench in 2001-02 as a redshirt freshman and played well at the point guard position ...
