Overview: Had significant playing time on the outside during spring practice, and had an impressive weekend at Open Nationals playing with the Westwood Gold team.

2003 Honors/Awards: Honorable Mention Pac-10 All-Freshman Team.

2003: Played a big role off the bench for the Bruins. Saw situational action against both San Diego and UC Irvine in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament without recording any stats. At UCLA's NCAA Regional, played in one game against Nebraska and in three games against USC with two kills, six digs and a solo block. UCLA's top server with 25 aces for a 0.29 per-game average. Had six double-figure kill matches to her credit, with a career-high 13 kills coming against Texas-Arlington (Sept. 11) and at Oregon (Oct. 23). Had three 10-dig matches on the season. Played primarily as an offensive replacement at both the hammer and technique positions. Started 11 matches and played 90 of a possible 122 games.

Prep: Most Valuable Player of the 2002 CIF Division I playoffs, as Marina High School took the CIF title. Orange County Player of the Year. Los Angeles Times first-team selection. All-American and second-team All-State as a senior. Four-time first-team All-Sunset League selection. Played club volleyball with Golden West and Cal Juniors. Golden West won the 2003 Southern California Junior National Qualifier. Volleyball Magazine/ Fab 50 selection. Also plays beach volleyball.
