HIGH SCHOOL - Earned two varsity letters for Coach Earl Hansen at Palo Alto HS where he led the team to the 2010 Div. I CIF Football title ... During his senior season, Bono was named to the Max Preps first-team all-state team, was the San Jose Mercury News Player of the Year and the SF Chronicle Peninsula Player of the Year, as well as the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League MVP ... He threw 30 touchdowns and 2700 yards during his senior year ... During his junior season, he threw for 14 touchdowns and 1090 yards ... Also earned two letters in baseball for Coach Erick Raich ... Also was a first-team all-league outfielder for the baseball team.
