1999 - Appeared in 10 of 11 games as a redshirt sophomore, missing only against Oregon State...Played defensive end for most of the year after playing outside linebacker for the first two games due to suspensions of other players...Started at OLB against Ohio State...Made 20 tackles on the year and forced two fumbles...Led the Bruins with four sacks (one each versus Stanford, Arizona State, Oregon and USC)...Made five tackles against both Ohio State and Washington and two each versus USC, Arizona State and California...Played at least 30 defensive snaps seven times, including 74 at Ohio State, 47 versus Boise State, 46 against Washington and 45 at USC...Also played on the field goal block unit.
