2005 -- This season, McCloskey started the first seven games and played virtually every snap when the game was in doub t. A key performer in UCLA's early season success running the football. In the first quarter of the Oregon State game, he strained his right shoulder and did not return. He missed the final five games of the year, including the Sun Bowl, due to the shoulder injury.

2004 -- Against Oklahoma State, he returned to the starting lineup for the first time since the fifth game of the 2003 season ... He played every snap of the first four games, but missed the Arizona game due to a sprained ankle suffered in practice ... He returned against California and played the entire contest ... He also went the distance against Arizona State and Stanford ... Did not play against Washington State due to headaches ... He returned to the lineup against Oregon's vaunted defensive line and helped the Bruins net 227 yards on the ground ... He also played every snap versus USC and Wyoming ...
