UCLA — Jeff is in his fourth year as a member of the Bruin football squad … He handles all of the long-snapping duties for the kicking units … A hard worker who earned a roster spot as a non-scholarship performer … Was awarded a scholarship prior to the 2000-2001 school year.

2000 — One of the unsung players on the team, he once again played an important role with his snaps on punts and place kicks … He was especially important on the PATs and field goals because of a new holder … Also one of the first players down the field on punt coverage.

1999 — His efforts as the long snapper played an important role in the success of two new kickers, punter Nate Fikse and place kicker Chris Griffith … A good athlete, he also made three tackles on punt coverage.

1998 — One of just five true freshmen to play for the varsity … Earned the long snapping job for place kicks during Fall camp and eventually took over the chore for the punting unit and did an outstanding job.

HIGH SCHOOL —Earned two letters in football under coach Steve Grady at Loyola High School … Played tight end and defensive end as a senior and quarterback and defensive line as a junior … As a senior, Loyola was the CIF Division I runner-up and he earned first-team All-League acclaim while serving as captain … Grau made 64 tackles, including six quarterback sacks, and made eight receptions for 68 yards … Also earned four letters in baseball as a first baseman/pitcher … Selected first-team All-League three times and team MVP twice … As a pitcher, he was 4-0 with a 1.23 ERA as a senior and 8-1 (1.52) as a junior … Batted .408 as a senior, .380 as a junior and .373 as a sophomore.
