UCLA — One of three returning starters on the offensive line, Danoff did a fine job in his second year as the Bruin starting center … Troy’s strengths include his knowledge of the offense, his upper body strength and his effort on the field … The only senior among the starting linemen, he demonstrated good leadership skills during Spring Practice and ‘runs the show’ at the line of scrimmage.

2000 — Danoff started all 12 games in his second year as a starter… He played at least 60 snaps in all but the USC game, including 86 against Alabama, 85 at California, 81 versus Fresno State and 80 against Michigan and Arizona State.

1999 — Did a fine job in his first season as the Bruins’ starting center … Started the first nine games of the season … Tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the team’s bye week in November and was finished for the season … Played at least 70 offensive snaps in seven of his nine contests, including 83 against Oregon, 77 versus Fresno State and Arizona State and 76 at Stanford.

1998 — Gained valuable experience as the primary backup to Shawn Stuart … Appeared in six games on offense … Played double-figure snaps three times, including 20 at Houston, 13 at Arizona and 12 versus Washington State … Made the switch to center during Spring ball.
