2003 -- The nation's top returning women's 800m/1500m runner ... Nilsson did not run cross country last fall, but trained for the upcoming 2004 indoor and outdoor campaigns ... Won the 800m (2:05.13) at the NCAA Indoor, also placed 13th (9:30.73) in the 3000m, and at the NCAA Outdoor, was second in the 1500m (4:09.86) ... Won the 800m (2:04.13)/1500m (4:19.07) at the West Region and at the Pac-10, became the only woman in conference history to repeat as the 800m (2:03.86, season-best)/1500m (4:13.21, meet record) champion and for the second year in a row was named the Pac-10 Women's Athlete of the Year ...Broke her own school and Pac-10 mark in the 1500m (4:07.69, Nilsson set the mark in 2002, 4:09.89) on May 24, placing fifth at the Prefontaine Meet in Eugene, OR ... 2002 -- One of the most productive cross country and track campaigns in school history ... In cross country, she led the Bruins to a second consecutive team berth in the NCAA Championships ... Over the 6000m courses, she placed 17th (20:10.0, All-American) at the NCAA, second at the West Region (20:45) and third at the Pac-10 (20:01, school record, first-team All-Pac-10) ...In international track, Nilsson won the 800m (2:04.85/2:09.66Q)/1500m (4:17.73) at Sweden's National Championships at Gavle (Aug. 17-18) ... In Malmo, Sweden (Aug. 13), she placed third in an 800m race and her time of 2:02.26 was a new school record (breaking teammate Tiffany Burgess' mark of 2:03.73, May 4) ... On Aug. 10 at the European Championships in Munich, Germany, Nilsson was the youngest competitor in the 1500m and equaled (4:09.89) her then-school record in the 1500m in a semi-final heat ... Back in the U. S., on July 6 in Brunswick, ME, she set the then-1500m school record (4:09.89), breaking the 28-year mark set by Francie Larrieu (4:10.3, 1974) ... At the NCAA Outdoor in Baton Rouge, LA, Nilsson won the 1500m title in a time of 4:12.60 ... At the Pac-10 meet in Pullman, WA, she became only the second woman in conference history to win both the 800m (2:03.88)/1500m (4:20.81) and was named the conference T & F Athlete of the Year ... At the NCAA Indoor meet, Nilsson ran the anchor leg (1600m) on UCLA winning distance medley relay (10:58.19, school record) and placed second (4:38.88/4:43.16Q) in the mile ... 2001 -- As a sophomore in cross country, Nilsson ran in the Pac-10 (29th), NCAA West Regional (48th) and NCAA Championship meets ...Outstanding track season as a redshirt freshman ...Sweden's National Champion in the 1500m (4:24.63) ... On Aug. 16 in Zurich, Switzerland, Nilsson ran an 800m-best 2:05.13, then the second-fast time in school history ...In track, she placed ninth at the NCAA Outdoor (2:11.95, 2:07.00Q) and third at the Pac-10 (2:06.08) ...Ran the anchor leg on UCLA's school-record 4 X 800m relay (8:33.21) that won the Texas Relays ...Also had the team's top mark in the 1500m (4:23.17) ...Honorable Mention Academic All-Pac-10 in both cross country and track.

2000 -- Nilsson redshirted in cross country and track with a stress reaction of the left tibia.
