Former Cal Poly player Kari Duperron was hired in September of 2003 as UCLA's Coordinator of Basketball Operations. She oversees the administrative side of the UCLA women's basketball program including work on recruiting, marketing, filming, outreach programs, camps and direction of the booster organization, The Center Court Club.
Duperron graduated in June of 2003 with a Business Administration degree from Cal Poly SLO, where she served as team captain for the women's basketball team. She earned the Big West Conference's "Hustle Player of the Year" award during her career. While at SLO, she served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. During her summers, she worked camps at Loyola Marymount, the University of San Francisco, Cal Lutheran, UCLA and Cal Poly. While an undergraduate, Duperron also served as an intern in the Cal Poly SLO marketing office, where she executed marketing plans and designed game-day promotions for the sports of football, men's basketball and baseball. In addition, she was responsible for initiating and coordinating the Basketball Kick-Off Madness celebration at SLO in 2002.
Duperron earned her Masters degree in Sports Management from Cal State Long Beach in February of 2006.
