Toria Auelua's RBI single in the top of the ninth inning plated Stephanie Ramos for the game's only run as UCLA defeated California, 1-0, in nine innings to win its ninth NCAA title. Keira Goerl hurled a no-hitter, her second of the season. UCLA has now captured a national-high 90 NCAA team championships, including four this season (men's soccer, women's gymnastics, women's water polo and softball).

A heart-stopping seventh inning rally that ended on an RBI single by Caitlin Benyi gave UCLA a 2-1 victory over Texas on Sunday night at Don E. Porter Hall of Fame Stadium. The Bruins will face California in the NCAA Championship game at 1:30 pm Pacific Time on Monday afternoon, a game that will be broadcast live on ESPN. Keira Goerl earned the win in the circle, and was the 98th victory of her Bruin career, making her UCLA's all-time winningest pitcher.

Senior Toria Auelua hit her sixth home run of the season on Sunday afternoon at Don E. Porter Hall of Fame Stadium as UCLA defeated Texas by a score of 3-0. The Bruins and Longhorns will face off again approximately 30 minutes after the Cal-Arizona rematch has concluded. Both of those games will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

UCLA advances to play Washington at approximately 7:30 pm PT on Saturday night. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

UCLA dropped its Women's College World Series opener late Thursday night, falling to seventh seeded California 7-3 in 10 innings. Keira Goerl struck out 13 in the game, that featured a game-tying home run in the bottom of the seventh inning by senior Tairia Mims. UCLA will return to the field on Saturday afternoon at 1 pm Pacific Time against Louisisana-Lafayette. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2.
