Herrera suffered a torn left ACL in the season opener against Texas on Feb. 9 ... in her second at-bat, had a slap-bunt single to lead off the sixth inning, but was injured after crossing first base ... was granted a medical hardship and will be a redshirt senior in 2008.

2006
Was one of seven Bruins to start all 59 contests, batting in the eighth slot in each game ... made 37 starts in left field and 22 at first base ... was third on the team and tied for seventh in the Pac-10 with 16 stolen bases ... hit .183 with four home runs, 15 RBI and 24 runs scored ... hit her first career grand slam in the Regional Championship game against San Diego State on May 21 ... also homered against Santa Clara (Mar. 5), Michigan (Mar. 15) and Stanford (Mar. 31) ... had four multi-hit games against Massachusetts (Feb. 11), Santa Clara, Washington (Apr. 26) and San Diego State ... scored three times and drew three walks in the season opener against Sacramento State on Feb. 9 ... drove in a pair against San Jose State on Mar. 4 ... stole two bases against Kansas (Feb. 25), Washington and Oregon (May 5).

Played in all 60 games, one of five Bruins to do so, making 56 starts ... started in left field 35 times, in right 11 times, at second base in eight games and in center field and at designated player once each ... was third on the team with six stolen bases and fourth with eight sacrifice hits ... batted .257 with three homers, seven runs batted in and 18 runs scored ... had a game-tying home run in UCLA's opening-game victory of the Women's College World Series against California on June 2 ... went 2-for-3 with the Bruins' first home run of the season at UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 30 ... also homered against Georgia on Feb. 4, going 2-for-3 with two RBI ... scored the game-winning run in Game 2 of the Super Regional against Georgia (May 28) ... posted nine multi-hit games ... laid down two sacrifice bunts against Michigan on June 7.
