Kristen Dedmon begins her fifth year with the UCLA softball team as an undergraduate assistant coach in 2008.
Dedmon played in 129 games during her four-year career, making 95 starts. She hit .225 with seven home runs and 41 runs batted in, with her best season coming in 2005 when she had six homers and 26 RBI. Her most dramatic hit as a Bruin though came in her freshman season of 2004 when she had the game-winning, pinch-hit RBI on a two-run single in the fifth inning against California.
Dedmon is finishing up her double major in political science and history.
