The 15th-ranked Bruins will head to Louisville, Ky. for NCAA Regionals. UCLA's first game will be on Friday against UAB at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET. #15-seed Louisville and IPFW are the other two teams in the Regional.
The Bruins concluded the regular season with a 37-18 record and a 10-14 mark in the Pac-12 Conference, tying for fifth. UCLA closed the season with wins in five of its last six contests, including a series victory at Oregon State last weekend.
UAB, which has never faced UCLA, is 37-16 and went 19-4 in Conference USA to win the regular season title. However, the Blazers lost in the conference tournament semifinals, but still earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.
Louisville, the #15 national seed, enters the postseason with a record of 46-11 and finished third in the Big East Conference regular season. The Cardinals finished the season with a 4-4 record, including a semifinal loss in the conference tournament. UCLA defeated Louisville in the only matchup between the two teams, a 2-0 victory at the 2004 NCAA Regionals at Easton Stadium.
IPFW (Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne) earned its first-ever NCAA Tournament berth by winning The Summit League conference tournament. The Mastodons (34-14) closed the season with wins in eight of nine and have never faced the Bruins.
The winner of the Louisville Regional will advance to NCAA Super Regionals and will face the winner of the Gainesville Regional, which consists of #2-seed Florida, South Florida, Georgia Southern and Hampton.
All-Session tickets will be available to purchase online here starting on Monday. All-Session tickets for adults are $25 and $15 for youths, students and seniors. Single-session tickets, which go on sale Friday at Louisville's Ulmer Stadium, are $10 for adults and #5 for youths, students and seniors.
