Go inside the mind of junior pitcher Ryan Deeter, the 2013 NCAA Elite 89 Award-Winner and UCLA Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Hidden talent:
I can solve a Rubik's Cube.

How quickly?
I've done it in 54 seconds.

Favorite class at UCLA:
Econ 106B (investments)

Hardest class at UCLA:
Math 115A (linear algebra) or Math 131A (analysis)

What do you plan to do with your mathematics/economics degree?
Something in finance or something in investment banking, or maybe something finance-wise in a baseball front office.

How difficult was it to take finals during this College World Series trip?
It's really tough because being here is one of the coolest things. Trying to experience everything and then having to sacrifice a lot of that time to study is kind of hard to do while everyone else is going out and having fun, but it's rewarding once you turn that last final in.

Best place to pitch:
TD Ameritrade, for sure.

Favorite baseball team:
San Francisco Giants

Ballpark you most want to visit:
The new Yankee Stadium
