UCLA prepares for New Mexico State.
No. 13 UCLA Continues Practice for New Mexico State

LOS ANGELES – The No. 13-ranked UCLA football team (2-0) started to wind down preparations for its non-conference matchup with New Mexico State (0-3) with a late morning practice in shells, Thursday at Spaulding Field.

Former Bruin great Randy Cross will serve as the honorary captain Saturday. Cross lettered three seasons for the Bruins (1973-75), culminating in UCLA's 1976 Rose Bowl victory over top-ranked Ohio State. He played both center and guard, starting 28 of his 34 career games, including his final 23 appearances.

The game will kickoff at 7:37 p.m. PT, and be televised by the Pac-12 Networks (Ted Robinson, Glenn Parker, Drea Avent).The Bruin IMG Radio Network (Chris Roberts, Matt Stevens and Wayne Cook) will air the contest on KTLK 1150am. The game will also be aired on SIRIUS (Ch. 85), XM (Ch. 85).
