The Bruins complete a four-match road trip this weekend in the desert, facing Arizona on Friday at 6 p.m. and Arizona State on Sunday at 11 a.m. Both matches will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks. Live stats will also be available at

The Bruins return to Pauley Pavilion next weekend, hosting #6 Washington on Friday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. and Washington State on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. The UCLA-Washington match will be broadcast live on Pac-12 Networks.

The Bruins have won 42 straight matches when hitting .300 or better, including four times this season ... UCLA had a season-best eight aces at Oregon State last Saturday and tied a year high with 17 blocks versus the Beavers ... nationally, the Bruins are 39th in hitting percentage (.255). UCLA is fifth among Pac-12 teams in hitting and sixth in kills per set (13.69) ... UCLA is undefeated this year (8-0) when winning the second set ... the Bruins are nine wins away from 1,200 for the program’s history ... UCLA has won all 10 of its contests when leading a match in hitting percentage ... senior Kelly Reeves had 10 digs at Oregon State on Saturday to become the 22nd Bruin to post 1,000 career digs. Reeves, who has 1,003 digs as a Bruin, has six double-doubles this year and 16 for her career ... freshman Jordan Robbins has at least four digs in seven of her last eight matches and is averaging 1.70 digs per set during that span to go with 5.03 assists per set ... redshirt freshman Haley Lawless set a career high with 10 kills at Oregon last Friday. She has recorded at least four kills in eight of her last nine matches and at least five digs in seven of her last nine ... junior Monica Stauber has surpassed the 20-assist mark in six of her last eight matches, while posting at least four digs in seven of nine ... sophomore Karly Drolson has double figures in digs in five straight contests, averaging 3.65 digs per set during that stretch. She also served a career-best three aces at Oregon State last Saturday ... one match after posting her first career double-figure kills match, sophomore Maddy Klineman recorded her first contest with double figures in digs, producing 10 at Long Beach. Against Creighton on Sept. 24, she had 19 kills ... freshman Claire Felix had career high totals in kills (14) and hitting percentage (.591) last Saturday at Oregon State. She committed only one hitting error in 22 attempts and has posted at least four kills in seven of her last eight contests ... junior Megan Moenoa was three digs shy of a pair of double-doubles last week against Oregon (29 assists, nine digs) and Oregon State (24 assists, eight digs). She also had an ace and a kill in both contests ... senior Mariana Aquino has at least four kills in five straight, including a career-high 17 at Colorado on Sept. 27. She also has at least five blocks in six of her last nine ... junior Zoë Nightingale has 14 blocks in her last two matches, including nine at Oregon State last Saturday. She also had eight kills and no errors in 22 attempts (.364) last weekend ... junior Karsta Lowe has double figures in kills in 15 of 16 matches this season, reaching the 15-kill mark for the eighth time this year against Oregon State. She also had seven blocks in the two matches last weekend.

Arizona (13-5) has split its first six Pac-12 matches, beating both Oregon schools and Washington State, while losing to Arizona State, California and Washington. The Wildcats are hitting .218 as a team, averaging 13.44 kills, 1.00 aces, 16.94 digs and 2.82 blocks per set. A pair of players are averaging over 3.00 kps, led by junior Madi Kingdon’s 4.44 kps. She is also first with 20 aces and second with 3.14 dps. Junior Jane Croson is second on the squad with 3.15 kps to go with 2.58 dps. Freshman Penina Snuka handles the setting duties and is averaging 9.95 assists per set. Senior Candace Nicholson is the libero and is posting 4.34 dps, while sophomores Halli Amaro (1.22) and Olivia Magill (1.14) are each averaging over a block per set. The Bruins lead the all-time series with the Wildcats 52-20. Each team won on their home floor in three sets last year. UCLA won in Westwood on Oct. 7 (25-16, 25-20, 27-25), while Arizona triumphed in Tucson on Nov. 2 (25-22, 25-16, 26-24). The Bruins are 22-12 all-time in Tucson, but have dropped two straight. UCLA’s last win at Arizona was a five-setter on Oct. 15, 2010.

Arizona State (13-5) is 2-4 in Pac-12 play and plays USC on Friday before entertaining the Bruins. The Sun Devils have dropped three in a row, falling to Oregon and the Washington schools. Arizona State has also lost to Stanford, but has defeated Arizona and Oregon State in conference action. Arizona State is hitting .232 as a team with 13.46 kills, 1.25 aces, 15.78 digs and 2.58 blocks per set. Four players are averaging over 2.00 kps, led by sophomore Macey Gardner’s 4.74 kps. Freshman BreElle Bailey is second with 2.76 kps, junior Nora Tuioti-Mariner is third at 2.73 kps and freshman McKenzie Willey is fourth at 2.26 kps. Sophomore Bianca Arellano quarterbacks the offense and is averaging 10.86 assists per set. Senior libero Stephanie Preach is first on the squad with 17 aces and 4.34 dps, while sophomores Whitney Follette (1.16) and Mercedes Binns (1.04) are each averaging over a block per set. The Bruins lead the all-time series with the Sun Devils 66-8 and have won five in a row. Last year, UCLA won in three at home on Oct. 5 and in four in Tempe on Nov. 3. Arizona State’s last win was a four-set triumph at home on Oct. 16, 2010.
