The 2014 softball television schedule was announced on Tuesday by the Pac-12 Conference. UCLA will appear on your TV screen 16 times this season, with 14 broadcasts on Pac-12 Networks and one apiece on ESPN and ESPNU.
The television schedule begins with a non-conference game against Michigan on Wednesday, March 5 at Easton Stadium at 7 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks. UCLA opens up conference play in Westwood against Arizona, Saturday, March 15 through Monday, March 17, and all three contests will be on Pac-12 Networks (March 15 and 16 at 12 p.m. and March 17 at 5 p.m.).
The Bruins' first Pac-12 road trip takes them to Seattle for a three-game set at Washington. The final two games of the series, Sunday, March 23 and Monday, March 24, will air on Pac-12 Networks at 3 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
Two weeks later, the Bruins travel to Eugene for a set at Oregon (Friday, April 4 through Sunday, April 6). All three contests will be televised on Pac-12 Networks at 3 p.m. (April 4), 3 p.m. (April 5) and 1 p.m. (April 6). In addition, the final game of the Bruins' series at California on Sunday, April 27 at 12 p.m. will be on Pac-12 Networks.
The Cal contest is the first of seven straight TV games to close out the regular season. UCLA hosts Stanford in the final regular-season homestand, Friday, May 2 through Sunday, May 4. The May 2 game at 7 p.m. will be on Pac-12 Networks, the May 3 tilt at 3 p.m. will air on ESPNU and the May 4 contest at 12 p.m. will be televised on ESPN.
The last Bruin road trip of Pac-12 play takes them to Tempe to face Arizona State, Thursday, May 8 through Saturday, May 10, with all three matchups airing on Pac-12 Networks (May 8 at 7 p.m., May 9 at 5:30 p.m. and May 10 at 1:30 p.m.).
