Amick and Iloski Called Into U.S. U-20 National Team Camp
By: UCLA Athletics
Freshman defender Michael Amick and freshman midfielder Brian Iloski were both selected as part of the 36-player roster that will compete at the U.S. U-20 Men's National Team training camp in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. from Jan. 3-12.

Amick, a native of Sunnyvale, Calif., played in 18 matches while making 16 starts. Spending the season mostly at center back, Amick played in six of UCLA's seven shutouts, amassing a total of 1,484 minutes to lead all UCLA freshmen. Additionally, he was named the No. 12 freshman to watch in the country by Top Drawer Soccer and helped UCLA earn the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2003.

A member of the U.S. U-18 National Team throughout 2012, Amick previously competed for the U.S. at the 2012 Lisbon International Tournament in Portugal and in the U.S. U-18 European training camp, earning caps in friendly matches against the Netherlands U-18 National Team, Borussia Dortmund's U-18 Academy team, Club Brugge's U-19 Team and Feyenoord Rotterdam's U-19 team. He has earned six caps overall with the U.S. Youth National Team.

Iloski played in nine matches for the Bruins in 2013, making seven starts, before missing the latter half of the season with an injury. The Escondido, Calif. native earned All-Tournament Team honors at the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic to start the season and scored one goal and recorded one assist on the year. Like Amick, he earned a spot on Top Drawer Soccer's Top 100 Freshmen to Watch list, coming in at No. 62. Iloski has previously participated in three camps with the U.S. U-18 National Team that included trips to France and Portugal.
